Kidnapped:
Francis Ford Coppola executive produced this mini series adaptation of Robert Louis Stevenson's classic adventure novel about a boy who's kidnapped and sold into slavery while searching for his rightful inheritance. From the family-oriented "Timeless Adventures" series.

Synopsis A made-for-cable mini-series adaptation of the 1886 adventure classic by Robert Louis Stevenson, first broadcast on The Family Channel.

In 1751, a Scottish boy, David Balfour, becomes heir to a family fortune. But his greedy, parsimonious, uncle cheats him out of every cent. Then the penniless David is kidnapped by the cruel Captain Hoseason, who sets sail for the Carolinas, where he plans to sell David as an indentured slave. Good luck finally arrives in the form of Alan Breck Stewart, a Scottish soldier who rescues the boy. The two return to Scotland to reclaim David's inheritance and ruin the uncle's evil plans.
The Prince and the Pauper:
This Hallmark Entertainment production beautifully adapts Mark Twain's 1881 novel to the screen. A magical story about two boys--one is a royal prince and the other is a poor, mistreated urchin--who switch social positions by merely exchanging clothes, THE PRINCE AND THE PAUPER is both a fantastic adventure and a commentary on social class. Aidan Quinn (LEGENDS OF THE FALL) stars.
